Expert Highlights Role of Effective Communication, Knowledge-Sharing in Project Success

At a recent in-house learning clinic for the Kwara State Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), Communication & Knowledge Management Expert, and Consultant to Kwara LPRES Project - Mrs. Aishat A. Onusi emphasized the critical role of effective communication and knowledge-sharing in achieving project goals. 

The training, held as part of the consultancy service on communication and knowledge management, focused on enhancing communication and knowledge management culture within the State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU).
Mrs. Onusi, who is also the Managing Director of Four Icons Premium, underscored that robust communication and knowledge management are essential for project visibility, smooth operation, and replicability. She highlighted that clear, timely, and transparent communication fosters better understanding and consensus among stakeholders, while an effective knowledge management system helps avoid past mistakes and build on previous successes.
State Project Coordinator, Mr. Olusoji Oyawoye applauded Mrs. Onusi’s professional disposition and the positive impact her technical support has had on the SPIU. He urged participants to apply the shared insights to enhance their communication and knowledge-sharing skills in order to contribute meaningfully to successful project implementation. 
Mr. Oyawoye lauded the State Government for its continuous support and acknowledged the contributions of the L-PRES National Coordination Office, The World Bank, and other partners in advancing the project in the state.

Kwara Government Distributes 3,000 L-PRES' PPE to Butchers, Abattoir workers, others

The Kwara State Government has Commenced the distribution of 3,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) to livestock farmers and value chain operators in the State under the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES). The exercise which took place at the Olushola Saraki Abattoir, Akarebiata in Ilorin was well attended by the members of the Kwara State Butchers Union, elders of the union including Seriki Fawa, Alhaji Suleiman Seriki, Iyaloja of the Market, and other stakeholders in the market. In his remarks, the State Project Coordinator, Mr. Olusoji Oyawoye said the PPE kits are for the safety of livestock farmers, butchers, meat processors and other value chain players in the sector. Kwara L-PRES Project Holds November State Technical Committee Meeting in Ilorin

In discharging its critical responsibilities by providing technical backstopping to the Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES) for the State Coordination Office towards ensuring smooth implementation of its programmes and activities as approved in the Annual Work Plan and Budget.
